Beauveria bassiana colonization on cabbage and its effect on seed germination and seedling growth

Abstract An insect-pathogen fungus called Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) Vuill. is employed as a biological control for variety of insect pests. B. not only acts an entomopathogen, directly infecting and killing pests, but it also has the ability to live endophyte on plants, colonize plant tissues, consequently boost growth. This research was undertaken find out whether can cabbage what impact seed germination seedling applied by soaking seeds with long intervals 0, 1, 3, 6 hours. Cabbage observed seven days after fungal application. The results revealed that increased germination, radicle length, plumule. duration affected seeds. Soaking one hour best time increase emergence seedlings.
